Lunar Real Estate is cheap right now. Going to the Moon to visit? That’s a different story.
🚀 So You Own Land on the Moon… Now What?
“One small parcel for a human. One giant vacation plan for humankind.”
Congratulations, Moon owner! You’ve got your name in the Lunar Registry and a deed for your very own parcel on the Moon. Maybe it’s in the legendary Sea of Tranquility, or nestled in the shadows of the Lunar South Pole. Maybe it’s a cozy acre near Lacus Somniorum, perfect for stargazing (from the other side of the stars).
But after that moment of joy and celestial satisfaction … the next question tends to be:
“When can I visit?”

🛸 Lunar Tourism: What Would It Cost?
While we don’t yet offer rocket rides (sorry!), that hasn’t stopped people from asking what a trip to the Moon and a weeklong stay might cost — assuming the infrastructure were magically in place today.
A few years ago, a Money.Co.UK article estimated that building an actual home on the Moon – even a modest one – would create a crater-sized dent in your bank account:
…a 76 square meter house [slightly more than 800 square feet] would require transporting 26 workers along with their tools, equipment and materials, which would cost about £5.8 million [UK]/$8 million [US]. That’s based on cost-per-kilo transportation data from SpaceX.
You’d also need a particularly sturdy and versatile house consisting of air seals, industrial-strength air-con, heaters, meteor-proof windows, insulation and organic sources of energy. That would all come to about £29 million/$40 million.
But what if you just want a quick visit to Luna for a few days? If it was possible in the near future, and only if all of the required infrastructure was already in place – adding in transportation, lodging, life support, and roving around your plot – a conservative estimate would be upwards of $750,000 to $1.5 million (USD) for a “modest” Moon vacation experience.
| Item | Estimated Cost |
|---|---|
| Round-trip Lunar flight (per passenger) | $250,000 – $450,000 |
| Transfer to and from Tranquility Base (via FlyTransLunar) | $75,000 |
| Lodging (7 all-inclusive nights at the Tranquility Hilton) | $175,000 |
| Food, water, oxygen (aka MOXY™) | $12,000 |
| Personal Lunar Rover rental (with chauffeur) | $28,000 |
| In-suit entertainment package (audio, camera, cell service) | Included 😎 |
| Support crew access (medical staff, engineers, AI concierge) | $60,000 |
💸 Total Vacation Package: ~$900,000+ USD
(plus Moon tax, fuel surcharge, and tip for your rover chauffeur)

🧑🚀 What’s It Like Once You’re There?
Here’s what your Moon-cation might include:
- A pressurized habitat pod waiting at (or near) your exact parcel
- Daily deliveries of MOXY™ (Moon O₂), water, and meals
- Access to guided crater tours via Lunar Rover
- A visit to the Apollo 11 Lunar Heritage Site
- Free Moon regolith sample from your own Lunar parcel
- A lifetime of bragging rights
You’ll float around in one-sixth gravity, see Earthrise from your front porch, and sip Starbucks® space-coffee ☕ (or a cocktail 🍸 made with vodka distilled from locally-grown 🥔 Lunar potatoes) while gazing at the stars with fellow pioneers.

🧾 About That Lunar Mortgage…
Currently, an acre of Moon property from the Lunar Registry costs on average about $36.00 (USD) — a far cry from that $1.5M+ travel budget.
If you’re planning ahead, you might want to lock down a few extra acres now before prices go up (and believe us — they will, especially after the first TikTok influencer livestreams from Mare Serenitatis).
Own your Moon land today. Visit it tomorrow… -ish. 🌕

⚠ Just So We’re Clear
While the idea of vacationing on the Moon is thrilling, we do not offer transportation, lodging, or space food (yet). We provide official Lunar property registration, recorded and certified — so when the day comes, your spot will be waiting.
Until then, hang that certificate, tell your friends, and keep your Moon boots ready.
